About Kayla Kaylinda

Kayla Kaylinda (Kayla Moses) is a Professional Dancer with over fifteen years of training, experience and expertise in various dance styles, dance instruction, choreography, performance and creative direction. Originally from Saint Lucia, Kayla had been exposed to the art of dance since the tender age of 4.She began her studies at the St.Lucia School of Ballet & Modern dance with Ballet technique and Nationally recognized company, the Helen Folk Dancers ; A very rich source of folklore dance history and quadrille on the Island.

After migrating with her family to the USA, Kayla was one of few melanated dancers accepted into the prestigious Dr.Phillips High School Performing Arts Dance Magnet Program in Orlando FL, from which she graduated with VPA 4 Year Honors in 2008! With a teaching apprenticeship under her belt, Kayla began offering dance instruction at various studios. Orlando School Of Cultural Dance in Orlando and Lisa’s Dance Spot in Atlanta to name a few. Through the years Kayla has trained and taught various levels of Ballet,Jazz,Hip Hop,Modern,Traditional African & Yoga. Although she enjoys sharing her knowledge and experience with aspiring dancers in the studio, Kayla’s passion for dance stems from her love for the stage. Performance opportunities with U-Turn Dance, Orlando School of Cultural Dance and the Dr.Phillips performing company propelled Kayla’s journey through dance education and expression right into a professional performance career; Leaving audiences elated and inspired.

Booked for her first East Coast tour with 2 Local Artists out of Orlando FL,Performing in various venues beginning in Miami FL all the way to Boston MA; at just 18 years old, was the beginning of what would eventually become Kayla’s dance network.Performing independently with Artists and Organizations, namely; Oba Ogunlano, Ajose Afrikan , KAS Arts Productions, Tam Tam Congo, Drum Cafe, Island Breeze Affiliates(Disney Springs,Disney’s Animal Kingdom & Jacksonville Zoo),Karizma Dancers and Delou Africa for multiple years is a testament to her talents and abilities.

Currently Kayla is building her brand as a Professional Dancer,Digital Creator and establishing her West African Dance Company Initiative ( Rhythms of Afrika Dance Project ) in Saint Lucia.
