Rhythms of Afrika Dance Project 

Founded in 2024 by Kayla. A born Saint Lucian who spent over twenty years in the United sates, training , studying and performing African dance predominantly among other dance styles. R.A.D is a cultural initiative bringing traditional African drum and dance to Saint Lucia as a way to connect back to the origins of many Caribbean traditions , rhythms and movements still alive to this day. By hosting monthly workshops, Kayla hopes to share her knowledge with other dancers, build a community around embracing African culture and heritage as well as participate in fusions and collaborative efforts.
